It drills efficiently at 150 rpm and can bore a 6-inch-diameter hole up to 50 feet deep with a standard auger and up to 35 feet with a hollow stem auger. And when it’s time to pull the auger out of the borehole, the 5,000-pound lifting capacity of the LST1A+ makes the job smooth and hassle-free.
If your jobs call for drilling deeper, the LST1A+HD has all the features of the LST1A+ with increased power and capabilities. It features a 25-horsepower Honda gas engine that can drill a 6-inch diameter hole through the same soil conditions, but to a depth of up to 100 feet.
Portability and Versatility
The LST1A+ is a highly mobile trailer mounted drill rig that can be pulled with a small truck, UTV or ATV over a variety of terrain. Trailer-mounted rigs are perfect for contractors who need their transport vehicle to haul other materials or be available for other projects while the drill is in operation.
Three leveling jacks allow for fast setup and stable drilling, and the rotary swivels aside for easy access to the borehole. The LST1A+ is well-suited for drilling holes and examining cuttings, offering a highly-portable solution for soil sampling operations.
