LST1G+ Soil Sampling Drill
The LST1G+ geotechnical rig is ideal for soil sampling, geotechnical testing and well monitoring in limited-access areas. The unit’s 4-inch-diameter auger drills 6-inch boreholes to 100 feet. The setup includes a tower, cathead and pulley to facilitate standard penetration testing with a 140-pound manual safety hammer. Additionally, the drill’s 5,000-pound lifting capacity ensures easy removal of augers and extensions. The drill can be mounted to the bed of a small truck or flatbed using specially designed frames.
